Marketing Settle & Bentham

Would you like to raise the profile of your local area? To attract the attention of more people, and encourage more visitors to come to discover Settle, Bentham and the surrounding areas?

Do you know what to do to get results? How can you collaborate with local businesses to reap rewards?

Free destination marketing workshops

I’m running two destination marketing workshops, one for Settle and one for Bentham on Wednesday, 15th March. The content will be tailored to the location so come to the workshop nearest to your business. Please make sure you book in advance, using the form on the right. The workshops are free* for visitor-facing tourism businesses.

When: 10.00 am – 12.00
Where: St. John’s Methodist Church Hall, Settle, BD24 9JH

When: 13.15 – 15.15 pm
Where: Bentham Golf Club, Bentham, LA2 7AG

These are some of the questions we’ll consider:

  • What are Settle/Bentham’s unique selling points? How is Settle/Bentham different to other destinations?
  • What do you need to do to stand out from your competition?
  • Which markets should you target to get the best results?
  • How can you collaborate with local businesses to reap quick rewards?
  • Which low cost promotional methods should you use?

I’ve worked with hundreds of different destinations over the last 30 years so have developed a good understanding of what works, and what doesn’t so I hope you’ll come along and get some ideas for your own business as well as talking about how we can promote Settle and Bentham now and in the future.
